Technofossils

Part 1 explores how motion graphics can translate complex scientific research into visual language that raises environmental awareness.

Technofossils are human-made artifacts integrated into Earth’s geological record, comparable to dinosaur footprints. Industrial and synthetic objects such as waste, furniture, vehicles, and smartphones can persist at planetary scale.

Looking at technofossils beyond waste opens a lens on future anthropological and archaeological traces of human existence.

Part 2

Part 2 creates speculative future fossils using materials connected to pollution, technological waste, and major social events such as wars and pandemics, while exploring contrasting image and sound to create a “mesmerizing horror” effect.
