Student live brief with FutureDeluxe and Ravensbourne Motion Graphics BA.

I had a chance to work on a student live brief from FutureDeluxe and Ravensbourne Motion Graphics BA. The brief asked us to visualize a sound.

I chose a modular synthesizer track by Caterina Barbieri: Caterina Barbieri - Memory Leak, 0:00-0:16.

The core material was light. The concept explores a paradox in the synth sound through texture: sharp, rough spark-like forms evolving into soft and fluid cosmic material, inspired in part by Kusama’s Infinity Mirror Room.

Incredibly grateful for this six-week process full of research, testing, discussion, and intuitive practice.
